Floodwaters from 12 1/2 inches of rainfall from the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee covered the parking lot owned by this Association which is leased by the York County Department of Parks and Recreation.

The floodwaters reached the roofs of the covered picnic tables neared the top of the restrooms and fencing.

Floodwaters have receded. Glatfelter's Station Road was reopened on Monday September 12.   The parking lot is now open and I observed several trail users enjoying the facility on Tuesday afternoon.

 I've been working for decades on the Descendants of 1741 immigrant J. Wilhelm Ehrhart, promised Rev. Kenneth Ehrhart I'd get it published - & am hoping to manage that this year.

We have a number of connections with Glatfelders in York Co,  also some of daughters who md Zech  & others whose children md Glatfelders,

I am a descendant of John Glattfelder and Catherina Simon/Simmons, through their daughter Eva who married Samuel Raver. Their daughter Lydia Raver (1807-1891) married Adam Snyder of Adamsville (Arbor), outside of Dallastown. My grandmother was Mamie Snyder Flinchbaugh (Martin, William, Adam), her older sister, Lillie Snyder Neff, being the oldest person in York Co., PA upon her death in 2001 at the age of 112. I've been working on our genealogy for over 40 years since high school. Would love to converse with other relatives from the Raver branch.
